The Electricity Transmission System Operator (TSO) Augstsprieguma Tīkls AS, in accordance with European Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/631 (of 14 April 2016, entered into force on 17 May 2016) establishing a network code on requirements for the grid connection of generators (Regulation 2016/631) is cooperating with TSOs from neighbouring countries and distribution system companies, and has developed the proposal Network Connection Requirements of Generators and plans to submit it to the Public Utilities Commission for approval.  The proposal has been developed in accordance with Article 7(1) of Regulation 2016/631.

The TSO has submitted the given proposal for Public Consultation in order to hear the opinions of interested parties. The opinions and suggestions can be submitted until 29 January, 2018 (including) via e-mail to the address [email protected]. After the Public Consultation, general requirements will be submitted to the Public Utilities Commission for approval.
