With the Baltic States' disconnection from the BRELL interconnected power system (IPS), transmission system operators (TSOs) in the Baltics will now perform capacity calculations based on the new agreed methodology for calculating the coordinated day-ahead and intraday capacity (DA/ID CCM). This methodology has been agreed upon by the transmission system operators of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Finland, and Sweden, and its goal is to ensure an effective and coordinated calculation of capacity values. The methodology will be applied starting from February 10, 2025.
