Live Stream: Introducing Augstsprieguma tīkls Group’s New Five-Year Strategy Priorities

Latvia’s Energy Strategy 2050, evolving geopolitical landscape and ongoing changes in the energy sector and globally will continue to drive industry transformation and form the basis for the Augstsprieguma tīkls Group’s (AST Group) medium‑term operating strategy for 2026–2030.

The Group comprises the parent company – Latvia’s electricity transmission system operator AS “Augstsprieguma tīkls” (AST) – and the subsidiary, the unified natural gas operator Conexus Baltic Grid (Conexus), in which AST holds a 68.46% stake.

AST invites investors, partners, industry organisations, media representatives and other stakeholders to the strategy presentation event on 2 April 2026 from 14:00 to 17:00. The event will be live-streamed at: http://www.ast.lv/en/strategy.

During the event, experts from Latvijas Banka, the Ministry of Climate and Energy, as well as AST and Conexus management will speak about:

  • Macroeconomic and capital‑markets trends that will affect the energy sector;
  • Latvia’s energy priorities and the AST Group’s goals;
  • Electricity market development and integration;
  • Development plans for the electricity and natural gas transmission systems.

The event will be held in Latvian with English real‑time text translation.
