Previously, it has been communicated that the SIDC 15 min MTU go-live in the Baltic bidding zones was planned for the 6th of November 2024. The go live date of the Baltic SIDC 15 MTU go live has been moved due to the original go-live date coinciding with the freeze period of SDAC Nordic Flow-based.

The change in planning has been made in order to mitigate critical risks in the Baltic intraday trading in case the Nordic Flow-based change would be rolled back due to unforeseen issues in implementation.

According to the new timeline, the first delivery date for SIDC 15 MTU trading is 21st November. ​

New go-live date as confirmed by SIDC for delivery on 21 November 2024:​

• For Intraday Auctions (IDA) the first auction is IDA1 with GCT 15.00 CET on 20 November 2024​
• For Intraday Continuous (IDCT) the first 15-minute contracts for EE, LT, LV open on 21 November 2024. Exact opening time will be confirmed closer to go-live.​
