Revised proposal for Amendments of the Baltic CCR Market-Based Methodology of Cross-Zonal Capacity Allocation For the Exchange of Balancing Capacity or Sharing of Reserves

TSOs of Baltic Capacity Calculation Region (CCR) have revised the proposal for amendments of the market-based methodology of cross-zonal capacity allocation for the exchange of balancing capacity or sharing of reserves, in accordance with Article 41 of Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/2195 of 23 November 2017 establishing a guideline on electricity balancing. This proposal covers the Baltic Capacity Calculation Region. The public consultation was held from 22nd of September to 23rd of October 2022. After revision of the public consultation questions, the Baltic balancing capacity market proposal, its explanatory note, and answers to the questions were submitted to the national regulatory autorities (NRAs) of the Baltic CCR for consideration on November 11, 2022. Baltic CCR TSOs have revised the methodology in accordance to NRAs request for amendments.
